انقلاب 27 مايو هو أول انقلاب عسكري في تركيا، قام به مجموعة من 38 من ضباط القوات المسلحة التركية خارجين عن قيادة رؤساء الأركان، ضد الحكومة المنتخبة ديمقراطيًا لحزب الديمقراطية يوم 27 مايو 1960. ووقع الحادث في وقت من الاضطرابات الاجتماعية والسياسية والمصاعب الاقتصادية، حيث كانت المساعدات الأمريكية حسب مبدأ ترومان ومشروع مارشال نفدت، ومن ثم كان رئيس الوزراء، عدنان مندريس، يخطط لزيارة إلى موسكو أملاً في وضع خطوط بديلة لل…
