Ongoing wildfire in Okanagan, Canada

The Bald Range fire is an ongoing wildfire in Summerland, British Columbia in the Okanagan. It started on August 7, 2026 and became one of the most significant and fastest-growing wildfires of the year. As a result, evacuations were ordered for the entire community of Summerland along with 8,000 people from the nearby Peachland area.
