1845 battle of First Anglo-Sikh War

The Battle of Mudki was fought on 18 December 1845, between the forces of the British East India Company and a part of the Sikh Khalsa Army, the army of the Sikh Empire. The British army were able to win the battle, despite suffering heavy casualties in the process.
