معركة الخندق (939 م)
معركة الخندق ، معركة وقعت في أغسطس 939/شوال 327 هـ في المنطقة الحدودية بين حدود مملكة ليون والدولة الأموية في الأندلس، وتحديدًا الواقعة في منطقة قشتالة وليون التابعة لمملكة ليون، على خلاف في تحديد موقعها ما إذا كانت قد وقعت على أسوار قلعة شنت منكش أم على أسوار قلعة سمورة، ودارت بين قوات خليفة الأندلس عبد الرحمن الناصر من جهة، وقوات راميرو الثاني ملك ليون من جهة أخرى، وانتهت بانتصار مملكة ليون.
