Incident in Korea in 2024

On 15 October 2024, North Korea destroyed parts of the Gyeongui Line on the west coast, and the Donghae Line, located on the east coast, which connected the country to South Korea. At 9:45 AM on 9 October, the North Korean government notified United States forces in South Korea that it would completely sever the road and railway connecting the North and South Korean borders.
