1915 defence of the village of Iwardo during the Assyrian genocide

The defence of Iwardo was a military engagement between Ottoman authorities and Assyrian defenders in 1915, during the events of the Assyrian genocide. The defence of Iwardo is coupled with the defence of Azakh, which also took place around the same time.
