Herzegovina

Historical region of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Herzegovina is the southern and smaller of two main geographical regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being Bosnia. It does not have strictly defined administrative borders today; however, in the past it was organized as the Sanjak of Herzegovina and Herzegovina Eyalet (1830–1851).
