Military conflicts in Central Asia, 1635–1743
The Kazakh–Dzungar Wars were a series of military conflicts between the Kazakh jüzes and the Dzungar Khanate lasting from the 17th to the mid-18th century. The conflict between the Kazakhs and the Oirats started from the first half of the 16th-century, all the way down to the later half of the 18th-century.
