United States deportation of Venezuelans

In March 2025, 261 people were deported by the second Trump administration from the United States to El Salvador, to be immediately and indefinitely imprisoned without trial. Of these 261 people, 137 Venezuelans were deported under the Alien Enemies Act which was invoked by US President Donald Trump on March 14. Removal of anyone under the Alien Enemies Act was blocked the next day by a US judge, in J.G.G. v.
