اتفاقية مونتفيديو بشأن حقوق وواجبات الدول هي معاهدة تم توقيعها في مونتفيديو، أوروغواي، في 26 ديسمبر 1933، خلال المؤتمر الدولي السابع للدول الأمريكية. تقنن الاتفاقية النظرية التصريحية للدولة باعتبارها مقبولة كجزء من القانون الدولي العرفي. في المؤتمر، أعلن رئيس الولايات المتحدة فرانكلين دي. روزفلت ووزير الخارجية كورديل هل سياسة حسن الجوار، الّتي عارضت التدخل العسكري الأمريكي في الشؤون الأمريكية المشتركة.
