Agreement between Japan and the United States

The Okinawa Reversion Agreement is an agreement between the United States and Japan in which the US agreed to relinquish in favor of Japan all rights and interests under Article III of the Treaty of San Francisco, which had been obtained as a result of the Pacific War, and thus restoring Japan's full exercise of sovereignty over Okinawa Prefecture.
