Guerrilla campaign against the Taliban government

The Republican insurgency in Afghanistan is an ongoing conflict waged by armed factions loyal to the defunct Islamic Republic of Afghanistan against the Taliban-led Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The conflict started immediately following the fall of Kabul in August 2021, and the insurgency represents the continuation of the decades-long Afghan conflict.
