الملخص

The 2016 total solar eclipse could be seen in every Southeast Asian countries. The totality could only be seen in West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Jambi, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and North Maluku. Festivals and celebrations were held around the country, particularly in the area the total eclipse hit.

كسوف الشمس في 9 مارس 2016 حدث عندما مر القمر بين الأرض والشمس، وبالتالي كان التعتيم كلياً أو جزئياً، وقد كان الكسوف مرئي في جنوب شرق آسيا وأجزاء من المحيط الهادئ والجزر حول سلطنة تيرنات في بحر مولوكا بإندونيسيا والتي تقع على أو بالقرب من خط كسوف الشمس وربما تعتبر من بين أفضل المواقع لمشاهدة هذا الحدث.
