Terrorist attack on Quaid residency in Ziarat, Balochistan in 2013

On 15 June 2013, the historical Quaid-e-Azam Residency, which housed the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in the last two months and ten days of his life, was attacked and torched by militants of the Balochistan Liberation Army. The Ziarat Residency was reconstructed and inaugurated on Pakistan's Independence Day, 14 August 2014.
