Explosion of presidential speedboat in Maldives
On 28 September 2015, an explosion occurred on the Maldivian presidential speedboat 'Finifenmaa', which was carrying President Abdulla Yameen, First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim, and other government officials from his administration. The boat was carrying them from Hulhulé to the Izzuddeen Faalan in Malé. Yameen escaped unhurt but first lady Fathimath Ibrahim, a presidential aide, and a bodyguard was injured.
