Die Schlacht bei Curupaytí war eine während des Tripel-Allianz-Kriegs zwischen einerseits Paraguay und andererseits Argentinien und Brasilien ausgefochtene Schlacht im September 1866. Eine aus argentinischen und brasilianischen Truppen zusammengesetzte Heeresstreitmacht, unterstützt von brasilianischen Flusskampfschiffen, versuchte hierbei das starke paraguayische Fort Curupaytí am Ufer des Río Paraguay niederzukämpf…
