Böhmen
historischer Staat, Landesteil Tschechiens
Böhmen ist eine historische Landschaft in Tschechien und war bis 1918 als Königreich Böhmen eines der Länder der Böhmischen Krone. Es bildet mit Mähren und Österreichisch Schlesien das Staatsgebiet Tschechiens, ist aber keine eigenständige administrative Einheit mehr. Die historische Hauptstadt Böhmens ist Prag. Der böhmische Landespatron ist der hl. Wenzel, dem die Wenzelskrone gewidmet ist.
