Der sogenannte Lotterieaufstand in Albanien zu Beginn des Jahres 1997 war eine tiefe wirtschaftliche, politische und gesellschaftliche Krise. In ihm entlud sich der Volkszorn über groß angelegte Betrügereien, durch die viele Albaner ihr ganzes Vermögen verloren.
