Morant-Bay-Aufstand
Der Morant-Bay-Aufstand fand ab dem 11. Oktober 1865 in Morant Bay im Saint Thomas Parish auf Jamaika statt. Der vom baptistischen Diakon Paul Bogle angeführte Aufstand markiert einen Wendepunkt in der Geschichte der Insel und war Grund einer kontroversen politischen Debatte in Großbritannien.
