Die britische Kronkolonie Goldküste in Westafrika bestand von 1878 bis 1957 und war Teil Britisch-Westafrikas. Am 6. März 1957 erlangte sie zusammen mit der Kronkolonie Ashanti, dem Protektorat Nordterritorien der Goldküste sowie dem Treuhandgebiet Britisch-Togoland als Commonwealth Realm Ghana die Unabhängigkeit.
