The Anglo-Nepalese War, also known as the Anglo-Gorkha War, was a major military conflict fought between the Kingdom of Nepal and the East India Company (EIC). The war was the culmination of decades of geopolitical friction as two expanding powers clashed along an ill-defined 1,500-kilometer frontier.
