El Vuelo 6780 de Loganair fue un vuelo de la compañía Loganair de Aberdeen a Shetland, que fue alcanzado por un rayo durante la aproximación al Aeropuerto de Sumburgh. El avión cayó en picada pero los pilotos pudieron retomar el control a segundos del impacto contra el Mar del Norte. El vuelo se desvió de emergencia a Aberdeen.
