The Spratly Islands dispute is an ongoing territorial dispute among Brunei, China (PRC), Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan (ROC), and Vietnam concerning "ownership" of the Spratly Islands, a group of islands and associated "maritime features" located in the South China Sea.
