On 10 September 2025, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a liquefied petroleum gas tank truck, property of company Gas Silza, overturned and exploded on the La Concordia Highway Interchange in Iztapalapa, Mexico City, while containing 49,500 liters of LPG, causing the deaths of 32 people, and injuring 90 others.
