Grímsvötn
volcan en Islande
Le Grímsvötn est un volcan d'Islande situé sous la calotte glaciaire du Vatnajökull, sur les Hautes Terres d'Islande, dans une région éloignée de toute habitation et infrastructure. Il s'agit d'une caldeira n'émergeant du glacier que sous la forme d'un escarpement rocheux et abritant un lac sous-glaciaire, lui aussi appelé Grímsvötn.
