Description

On June 5, Jordan launched a heavy bombardment of West Jerusalem which was under Israeli sovereignty. The United Nations brokered a cease-fire agreement, but Jordan soon broke this agreement and took control of Governor's Palace.

המערכה על ירושלים נערכה בחזית הירדנית בין הלגיון הירדני לבין כוחות צה"ל במלחמת ששת הימים. המערכה ארכה כשלושה ימים, 5–7 ביוני 1967. במהלך המערכה השתלטו הכוחות הישראליים על מרחב ירושלים כולו, כולל ירושלים המזרחית והעיר העתיקה בירושלים.
