2018年10月22日から11月1日にかけて民主党の政治家やドナルド・トランプ大統領に批判的な著名人に向けてパイプ爆弾入りの郵便物がアメリカ合衆国郵便公社を通して送りつけられた。標的にはバラク・オバマ元大統領、ジョー・バイデン元副大統領、ヒラリー・クリントン元上院議員・元国務長官が含まれていた。
