Slag van Beerst-Blote
veldslag in België
Tijdens de Slag van Beerst-Blote in de Eerste Wereldoorlog werd de West-Vlaamse gemeente Beerst zo goed als volledig verwoest. De bedoeling van de Duitsers was hierbij een bruggenhoofd over de IJzer te veroveren. De veldslag speelde zich af van 15 oktober 1914 tot 10 november 1914.
