ワシントン砦の戦い
ワシントン砦の戦い は、アメリカ独立戦争のニューヨーク・ニュージャージー方面作戦中に行われた戦闘である。1776年11月16日に、現在ではニューヨーク市マンハッタン島のワシントンハイツにあったワシントン砦に対し、イギリス軍が総攻撃をかけて砦の大陸軍守備隊全軍を降伏させた。
