ケレンの戦い
ケレンの戦い とは、第二次世界大戦の東アフリカ戦線中の1941年2月3日から3月27日まで、イタリア領東アフリカ（エリトリア行政区域）のケレンにて展開されたイタリア王国と連合国の戦闘である。王立イタリア軍はイギリス軍（主に英領スーダンと英領インドの部隊）と自由フランス軍に対しその地の防衛に当たった。ケレンの街は両軍にとって戦術的重要性があり、そこを通る道路と鉄道は、戦闘後イギリスに降伏したアスマラ（イタリア領エリトリアの首都）や紅海に面する港湾都市マッサワへの主要なルートであった。
