Clashes between the Central African Republic and the Central African Army
Between December 7, 2020, and February 18, 2021, clashes broke out between the Union for Peace in the Central African Republic (UPC) coalition and the Central African Army (FACA) in and around Bambari, Central African Republic. UPC rebels captured the city on December 22, preventing residents from voting in the Central African general election.
