Diliman Commune
1971 protest and campus occupation in Quezon City, Philippines
The Diliman Commune was a nine-day protest and occupation at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus in Quezon City from February 1 to 9, 1971. Students, faculty members and campus residents erected barricades and resisted attempts by police and constabulary forces to enter or clear the campus.
