Indian anti-government conflict since 1967

The Naxalite–Maoist insurgency is an ongoing conflict between the Government of India and communist groups. The Naxalites are a group of communist organisations following Maoist political sentiment and ideology, and claim to be fighting for rural poor and wage a people's war against the government.
