バストーニュの戦い とはバルジの戦いの最中、ベルギーの町バストーニュで行われた戦いである。ドイツ軍の攻撃目標はアントワープの港であり、バルジの戦い初期、ドイツ軍の奇襲に混乱していた連合軍が軍を立て直してしまうことや、圧倒的優勢な連合軍空軍の攻撃が開始される前に、交通の要所バストーニュを占領しなければならず、ベルギー東部においてドイツ装甲部隊は攻撃を強化した。バストーニュにはアルデンヌ山地を巡る7本の道が合流しており、その交差点はドイツ軍の進撃に必要であった。戦いは1944年12月中旬から1945年1月まで行われた。
