Batalha de Ethandun, também chamada Batalha de Edington, foi um confronto travado em maio de 878 entre o exército dos saxões ocidentais do rei Alfredo, o Grande, e o Grande Exército Pagão, comandado pelo chefe dinamarquês Guthrum. A luta ocorreu perto de Edington, em Wiltshire, onde Alfredo obteve uma vitória decisiva e deteve o avanço viquingue sobre Wessex.
