The Battle of Râmnicu Sărat was a battle fought on the Romanian Campaign during World War I. It took place from December 22 to 27, 1916, in Buzău County in the Wallachia region of eastern Romania and resulted in the defeat of the Russo-Romanian forces by the Central Powers.
