Janibak al-Sufi revolt
The Janibak al-Sufi revolt (1435–1437) was a significant uprising against the Mamluk Sultanate and its Dulkadirid allies in southeastern Anatolia. Despite his initial setbacks, Janibak managed to rally forces but was eventually defeated near Aintab. The Mamluk Sultan Barsbay personally intervened, leading to Janibak’s final defeat and execution in 1437.
