Batalla de Delfos
La batalla de Delfos fue un enfrentamiento militar librado en 279 a. C., durante la invasión de los celtas a la Hélade. El contingente invasor, mandado por Breno y Acicorio, intentó saquear las riquezas del santuario de Delfos, pero fue rechazado por los defensores apoyados por la llegada de refuerzos y un mal clima. Los celtas debieron retirarse, sufriendo numerosas bajas en el periplo.
