Гражданская война в Южном Судане — вооруженный межэтнический конфликт между нуэр и динка в Южном Судане, начавшийся 15 декабря 2013 года и завершившийся 22 февраля 2020 года. Это конфликт между силами правительства и силами оппозиции. В декабре 2013 года президент Киир обвинил своего бывшего заместителя Риека Мачара и еще десять человек в попытке государственного переворота.
