1619 Dutch capture of Autonomous city of Banten
The Fall of Jayakarta, also known as the conquest of Jacatra, was a military engagement between the Dutch East India Company (VOC) and the Banten Sultanate at Jayakarta in 1619, following the first Dutch attempt to conquer the city.
