巴爾瓦諾鐵路事故 發生於1944年3月2日至3月3日的夜間，一輛貨運列車於義大利巴尔瓦诺附近的隧道中發生故障，500餘名乘客因一氧化碳中毒而死，使其成為西歐史上第二致命的鐵路事故（僅次於1917年法國聖米歇爾德莫里耶訥鐵路事故），以及世界史上最嚴重的鐵路事故之一。
