海南島戰役，中华人民共和国政府称之为解放海南岛，中華民國方面稱海南島保衛戰，是1950年3月到5月發生於雷州半岛至海南島的一場戰役，以中國人民解放軍擊敗中華民國國軍，並占领海南全岛而告终，岛上的中国国民党和中华民国政府机关迁往臺灣。该战役之后，原中华民国政府海南特别行政区被改置为中华人民共和国政府海南行政区，并入广东省管辖范围，直至1988年海南省建立。
