1904-05年間日本與俄羅斯之間的戰爭
日俄戰爭 是1904至1905年亞洲地區發生的大規模衝突，因大日本帝國和俄羅斯帝國為爭奪中国东北地区與朝鮮的爭端而起。日本海軍於1904年2月9日襲擊駐紮在旅顺港的俄國太平洋艦隊，後其陸軍登陸朝鮮入侵滿洲地區，並於1905年1月攻下旅順，於3月攻佔奉天。俄國海軍艦隊後於5月抵達，但在对马海峡海战被日軍艦隊擊潰，最終在美國總統西奥多·罗斯福斡旋下，簽訂《朴次茅斯條约》，結束戰爭。
