Als Septemberrevolution 1848 oder Septemberunruhen wird ein Volksaufstand in Frankfurt am Main bezeichnet. Im September 1848 stimmte die Frankfurter Nationalversammlung, das Parlament des revolutionären Deutschen Reiches, über die Beendigung des Krieges mit Dänemark ab. Radikale Demokraten waren enttäuscht, dass der Krieg nicht weitergeführt werden sollte.
