2025 wildfire in Colorado, US
The South Rim Fire was a wildfire that burned in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado, United States. The fire ignited on July 10, 2025, from a lightning strike; the national park was completely closed, and visitors were evacuated. Ultimately, the fire destroyed at least six structures, including structures owned by the National Park Service and visitor facilities.
