An diesem Tag wurde eine auf der Luftwaffenbasis Kanoya gestartete Raytheon U-125 der Luftselbstverteidigungsstreitkräfte während eines Prüffluges ins Gelände geflogen, wobei alle sechs Insassen der Maschine ums Leben kamen.
