La guerre Adal-Éthiopie est un conflit militaire qui a opposé l'Empire éthiopien au sultanat d'Adal de 1527 à 1543. Cette guerre faillit s’achever par l’anéantissement de l’Empire chrétien par les troupes de l’imam Ahmed Ibn Ibrahim Al-Ghazi qui convertissent à l'islam les populations conquises.
