Berg in den Karawanken in Kärnten
Der Hemmaberg ist ein 842 m ü. A. hoher Berg im Vorfeld der Karawanken und liegt westlich der Ortschaft Globasnitz im Süden Kärntens. Auf dem Gipfelplateau befand sich zumindest seit römischer Zeit ein keltisches Heiligtum. In spätantiker Zeit gab es hier eine Höhensiedlung mit einer älteren Kirche und zwei gleichzeitig Anfang des 6. Jahrhunderts erbauten Doppelkirchen. Die Siedlung ging um 600 zugrunde.
