Lifos, 3917 m'lik yüksekliği ile İç Anadolu Bölgesinin birinci, Türkiye'nin ise 5. büyük dağı olma özelliğine sahip Erciyes Dağı'nın 2509 m yükseklikteki tepelerinden biridir. Erciyes Dağı'nın doğu kısmında 2628 m yüksekliğinde Koç dağı; güneyinde ise, 2423 m yükseklikte Beyyurdu ile, 2909 m yüksekliğindeki Oğlakkıran tepeleri yer almaktadır.
