The Battle of Fanfa, also known as Battle of Fanfa Island or the Betrayal of Fanfa, was one of the first battles of the Ragamuffin War, fought by loyalist Imperial forces under Bento Manuel Ribeiro, and Riograndense troops under Bento Gonçalves.
